Pastor Benjamin Morris is the lead pastor at Cape Island Baptist Church. He has served as a youth pastor for Hope Christian Church in North Bend, Oregon. Before answering the call to pastoral ministry, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 22 years as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He has been happily married to his wife, Jennifer, since 2016. Jennifer is a graduate from Georgia Tech and she is the founder and owner of Four Points Financial Group. They are both from Duluth, Georgia and have four children: Landis, Jude, Thea, and Ollie.

Pastor Ben graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Religion and a graduate from Liberty Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies.

Outside of ministry and family life, Pastor Ben enjoys staying active. He loves snowboarding, playing various sports, and swimming. Above all, he values time spent with his family, whether on adventures or simply enjoying the quiet moments together.
